Intra-week changes are your job
If you have a late meeting on Tuesday and need to move your interval session to Wednesday, you do not need permission. Intra-week changes are the athlete's job. Athletes move their own sessions with common sense guardrails:
- Do not put two high-intensity sessions back-to-back.
- Do not move a rest day to the end of a heavy block just to fit in more work.
- If you miss a session entirely, let it go. You do not cram Thursday's missed run into Friday's rest day.
Every Monday morning, our athletes receive a feedback prompt. We look for three things: comments on the past week, necessary adjustments for the current week (travel, events), and one rotating contextual question about sleep, fueling, or readiness.
